Horse riding:
An idyllic way to see the real Dalyan, a gentle ride through meadows and country lanes. All of the horses are in tip top condition and rides take place in the early morning or in the evening after the sun has gone down. Horses are graded, so even if you are a novice rider a suitable horse will be chosen for you by the very professional stable hands.
Saklikent Gorge (The hidden valley):
Saklikent gorge, situated near Toros, is the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey - 18 km long. Sensible submersible flat shoes are necessitie for this trip and of course your camera. (Plastic shoes can be hired at the entrance to the gorge). To enter the gorge you will have to wade through the knee high water then you can walk one kilometre to Saklikent, if you are really energetic climb up to the hidden waterfall. A great day out and one not to be missed, the scenery is spectacular. On the way back to Dalyan, stop off at the ruins in Toros and take in the breath taking scenery. It is about a 2.5 hour drive from Dalyan, if you don't fancy the drive then an organised trip can be booked via our management company, Kaunos Tours.
The beauty of rafting is that no previous experience at all is required to experience this exhilarating outdoor sport. Each raft, which carries 4-8 people, is under the full control of a professional guide. You and the crew, paddle in accordance with the guide's instructions and like magic, the raft goes exactly where it is supposed to. All that is required from you, is to be able to swim and be prepared to get wet! You are fitted out with a lifejacket and helmet, and if the weather is on the cool side, jackets, wet suits and bootees will also be provided. After a briefing from the guide, you are all set to challenge the rapids and to experience the beauty of the mountain scenery during calmer stretches of the river.
Jeep Safari:
The Jeep Safari trip is a really great day out, it's a chance to meet new friends and have loads of fun. Take a big plastic bag and a change of clothes, as you will get wet!! The trip is a full day and there are various stops on route, including a visit to a traditional Turkish house, beach, waterfall and finally up into the mountains to take in the amazing views over Dalyan, don't forget your camera.
White water rafting:
A visit to Ephesus- which was once the commercial center of the ancient world, now the largest classical, archeological site in the world- is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city with its splendid architectual program was dedicated to the goddess Artemiswhose temple once concidered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will percieve the ancient life while you are strolling along the marble streets and visiting the Odeon, the Agora, Temple of Hadrian, the Monumental Fountains the Roman Baths, Library of Celsius and the Great Amphi-theatre. A visit to Ephesus and Pamukkale is a 2 day trip, with an overnight stay is included in the cost of the tour, the following morning you will be taken to Pamukkale.

Pamukkale (Cotton Castle): A magical and spectacular natural site unique in the world situated by the ruins of sacred Hierapolis ancient city; Pamukkale is a fairyland of dazzling white pertified castles. Calcium rich thermal spring waters at a temperature of 35° running of the plateaus edge for millions of years, have created the fantastic formation of stalactities, cataracts and basins. Relax in the hot springs that have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers or swim in the modern pools filled with warm, soothing thermal waters.
